Residential & commercial real estate · Wilmington, North Carolina
The Firm
A Wilmington brokerage for residential and commercial clients.
Coastal Properties serves buyers, sellers, owners, and investors across Southeastern North Carolina, from our office on Military Cutoff Road in Wilmington.
As a licensed broker and former Broker-in-Charge, I know firsthand what responsible brokerage looks like, and you'll work directly with me from start to finish.
Why It Matters
How NC brokerages protect you.
In North Carolina, every real estate office must be supervised by a designated Broker-in-Charge who is responsible to the NC Real Estate Commission for the office's conduct.
Accountability
The Broker-in-Charge oversees the office's brokers, transactions, and advertising, so there's a clear point of responsibility.
Protected funds
Earnest money and other client funds are held and accounted for in a supervised trust account, as state rules require.
Experience
Qualifying as a Broker-in-Charge requires added experience and education beyond a standard broker license. It's a qualification I hold.
Working with real estate agents in North Carolina
North Carolina requires brokers to review the NC Real Estate Commission's Working with Real Estate Agents disclosure with you at your first substantial contact. It explains the different ways a broker can represent you. I'm happy to walk you through it and answer any questions.
